The Shopify Connector will mirror inventory quantity and price with what retailers have listed in their Shopify store. It is very important both numbers are accurate as that is what will be used for your ShopSimon™ assortment. See below for additional notes in this area:
- A snyc will occur every 15 minutes between Shopify and ShopSimon™ - this will trigger an update in the ShopSimon™ portal on items that have changed.
- If your products do not have a 'sale' price or show 0 inventory, they will not be listed on ShopSimon™.
- Please do not enable "Continue Selling When Out Of Stock" on any of your items. This will produce a 9999 inventory value to be imported into the ShopSimon™ portal. Since we do not do back orders, this is not an accurate reflection of available inventory could lead to orders on out of stock items and ultimately a high cancellation rate.
- To discontinue an item on ShopSimon™ - please remove the 'Simon' tag in Shopify. If the item is out of stock, a 0 value will also remove it from the ShopSimon™ site.
