Configure The Shopify Connector

Connect To Your Shopify Store

To install, login to your Mirakl Connect account and click the “Shopify” link on the left toolbar. This will start the installation process and you will be prompted to enter your Shopify Shop URL (i.e. storename.myshopify.com) This is where you will connect your Shopify store with Mirakl Connect. Once the sync has been completed, please let a member of the ShopSimon™ team know.

 

Accessing Shop Simon In Mirakl Connect

Click on Shopify > Feed to find the ShopSimon™ marketplace. Click Configure ShopSimon™ to start the configuration process. If you do not see ShopSimon™ listed, please go to Marketplaces > My Stores and hit the “Import Stores” button at the top right of the page to import the ShopSimon™ marketplace.

 

Configure The Connector

Connect: Marketplaces>Configure/View>Configuration tab

In order to send your products and inventory to ShopSimon™, you will need to configure the connector the following way:
 

  • General Product Settings
    • Condition = New
    • Marketplace Product Identifier = SKU
    • Matching Source Product Identifier = SHOP SKU
  • Offer Synchronization
    • Activate Offer Synchronization 
       
    • Activate all synchronization mode options 
  • Offer Price Rule (Optional)
    • Use this field to create a discount on all ShopSimon™ products - always on sale price and/or extra % off promotions.
    • Generally is used by retailers that are not using "Compare At Price" in their Shopify Catalog and/or for full catalog promotions. 
  • Activate Order Feed
    • Activate all synchronization options 
    • Activate Refund Synchronization

Configure Product Listings In Mirakl Connect

Mirakl Connect: Marketplaces>Configure/View>Listing

You must create rules to align your categories with ShopSimon™. You can create as many rules as you want. To get started, please use the below steps:

  1. Click the "Create A Rule" button
  2. Please provide a name to the rule in "Title of the rule"
  3. Select the marketplace category
  4. "Add Condition" and select one of your attributes to filter your products
  5. Enter values for the selected attribute
  6. Add as many conditions as necessary 
  7. Repeat the procedure until all the products you want to sell on ShopSimon™ marketplace have been mapped
  8. Click "Apply Changes"

Export Your Product Mapping File

Connect: Marketplaces>SPO Configure/View>Product Export

Export your ShopSimon™ assortment in a standard format to be used with the ShopSimon™ Mapping Configuration Wizard. 

1. Select the products to export

  • During onboarding you will select ‘All products.’
  • Once live it is recommend you use the date filter when adding new products.

2. Hit "Download products file" button

  • A file will download from Mirakl Connect allowing you to review before mapping/importing into
    ShopSimon™ portal.
  • It is recommended you double check the file to make sure all required product attributes are included in file.

3. Complete your export

  • Select “Access your store" on ShopSimon™ to begin the mapping exercise.
  • You can also import the export file directly into the mapping wizard in the ShopSimon™ portal.

SHOP SIMON™Mapping Wizard

The final step to is to map your product catalog using ShopSimon™ Configuration Wizard. You will need to complete this step any time you add new products to your ShopSimon™ assortment. This will ultimately import your product data into the ShopSimon™ portal.

See below steps to complete the mapping wizard. You will need to click and drag your values into the operators values at each step. 

  1. Export File From Connect
  2. Import Product File Into ShopSimon™ Portal
  3. Identify Field Used For Categorization
  4. Category Mapping
  5. Attribute Mapping
  6. Value Mapping
  7. Define Rules (Optional)
  8. Summary And Validation

Once you complete this step, your products will land in the ShopSimon™ portal where a member of our operations team will review the catalog and publish once validated. At this time, we will request that you activate both offer and order synchronization to complete the connector configuration.
