ShopSimon™ allows retailers to offer final sale products. If marked as final sale, a badge will be listed on the product display page for the customer to see.
*If a product is designated as final sale, a customer cannot return the product unless the product is deemed to be defective or not what the customer ordered. Please make sure someone from your team is responsive to order messages to better assist our customer service team on finding the best solution for all sides. The ShopSimon™ customer service team is instructed to initiate a return if no response is received within 3 days of initial outreach on a return request.
How to mark an item as final sale:
Option 1
- Using the product data template file, input 'true' for all final sale items in the 'Final Sale' attribute column
- Please make note, TRUE is not a valid value, it must be all lowercase 'true.'
Option 2
- Login to ShopSimon™ portal
- Select Catalog Manager
- Search/Select the item you wish to update
- Select the 'Edit' link in the top right corner
- Find the 'Final Sale' attribute field > Select 'Edit'
- In the 'Customize Final Sale' field select 'true'
- Click Save at the bottom of the page
