The Shopify connector allows retailers to review and manage orders they are receiving through the ShopSimon™ vendor portal in their Shopify store.
A usual workflow will look like this:
1. Customer places order on ShopSimon, the order is created in your ShopSimon vendor portal. The order is auto-accepted and synced with your Shopify store.
Orders are created in Shopify when they reach the status of 'Pending Shipment' in Mirakl Connect. They will be created in the payment status of 'Paid' and the fulfillent status 'Unfilfilled.'
2. In Shopify, the retailer goes go the 'Orders' page to locate the order.
3. To ship your order, click the 'Mark as Fulfilled' button - enter the tracking number and carrier and click 'Fulfill Items.' The connector will synchronize tracking, carrier, and tracking URL with ShopSimon.
4. Once an order/shipment has been process, Shopify which will auto-sync with the ShopSimon portal and update the status to “Shipped.” Once an item is marked as 'Shipped,' it is considered complete.
If the order is shipped directly from the ShopSimon portal, the shipment won't be synced to Shopify.
How To Identify ShopSimon Order
Each ShopSimon order that is listed in Shopify, will include the details listed below:
- Order Placed From - Name of the marketplace
- Tenant ID - ID of the channel
- Order ID - Marketplace order number
- Marketplace Order Status - Status of the order
- Shipping Deadline - Deadline to ship the order
- Order Total Price - Total amount paid by customer
The connector will also add 3 tags on each order:
- Mirakl
- Name of the marketplace
- Shipping Deadline
Cancellations
If a retailer is unable to fulfill an order they will need to cancel the item they cannot fulfill. This can be completed in Shopify or in the ShopSimon portal.
Refund An Order
ShopSimon will initiate all returns and provide the customer with a prepaid return label to retailer’s distribution center. Once return is accepted by retailer, the retailer will need to complete the refund in Shopify or in the ShopSimon portal using the steps outlined here.
