ShopSimon™ provides a flat file based solution for fulfillment integration for partners familiar with drop shipping programs.
Below is a list of required steps to complete the integration setup:
1. Connect with SFTP server
Login credentials will be sent once you have completed your account setup in the ShopSimon™ portal. This will be used to send your daily offer (price/inventory) file, product file (optional), as well as the order files back and forth between our two systems. Connect to our SFTP server with any FTP client - two common FTP solutions are Filezilla and WinSCP.
Once opened you will see a screen like this to login:
Login Details:
- Host name = sftp.sspo.com
- Port number = 22
- Username/Password - will be provided by ShopSimon™ team during onboarding
Each retailer will have their own specific folder and sub-folders. Once logged in, you will be directed to your retailer folder. Once ready, please drop files into the coordinating sub-folder name. See below list of where each file is placed:
- (Retailer) Product File: products > import
- (Retailer) Offer File: offers > import
- (Shop Simon) Order Export File: orders > order > export
- (Retailer) Shipment Confirmation File: orders > shipment > import

2. Build your product and offer file templates with your launch assortment

- Offer File - click here for offer file requirements - must be sent as csv file
Please send file with same name for every file added to the folder with date and time stamp included:
- Product file format: product-import-2022-09-28-1626.xlsx
- Offer file format: offer-import-2022-10-25-1127.csv
- Shipment Confirmation file format: shipment-import-2022-11-01-1244.csv
3. Import your product and offer data into the ShopSimon™ portal
This can be done manually as a bulk import or you can place directly in SFTP folder as outlined above.
Shop Simon will publish a few skus to use for order testing.
4. Order file testing in SFTP server
- Once the test order has been completed, the ShopSimon™ team will drop the 'Order Export' file into the sub-folder for the retailer to pickup.
- Once the orders have shipped, the retailer will place the 'Shipment Confirmation' file into the correct SFTP sub-folder. ShopSimon™ will pick up this file and import/process in the ShopSimon™ portal.
Sample templates will be provided during onboarding for the 'Order Export' and 'Shipment Confirmation' files. Also, before launch, we will need to align on a time(s) for these files to be dropped each day.
5. Prepare to go live
Once testing has been signed off by both sides, the last step is set up the file automation with the SFTP folder. Both sides will have the opportunity to sign off before launch.
