The Shopify Seller Connector is a plug-in that enables retailers to sell products from Shopify on ShopSimon™. The connector allows retailers to seamlessly integrate products and offers into the ShopSimon portal. It also facilitates the management of marketplace orders that are placed to your store.

The Shopify connector includes the following capabilities:

  • Create listings and export products to the ShopSimon catalog.
  • Update product price & inventory (offers) in the ShopSimon catalog.
  • Manage and import your ShopSimon orders.
  • Automate your workflow with cron jobs.

Getting Started:

  1. Create account in Mirakl Connect.
  2. Click on 'Shopify Catalog' in the navigation bar, enter your Shopify URL and install the app.
  3. In Mirakl Connect, Click on 'Marketplaces' in the navigation bar, connect with ShopSimon.
  4. Prepare your ShopSimon assortment in Shopify utilizing tags, collections, and/or product type to identify ShopSimon products. Most sellers label their ShopSimon assortment with a "Simon" tag.
  5. Configure Mirakl Connect with your Shopify catalog under "Marketplaces > View Settings." Make sure to activate "offer" and "order" synchronization.
  6. Establish Shop Simon assortment in Mirakl Connect. Under "Listings" you will create conditions/rules that line up with how you identify your ShopSimon assortment in Shopify.
  7. Export ShopSimon product file from Mirakl Connect and map your catalog using our Configuration Wizard.
  8. ShopSimon will review initial import and help resolve any import errors.
  9. Complete final review & confirm ready to go live.
  10. Go Live - ShopSimon will publish your product catalog to our live site. 

Operations Notes:

  • The following tasks are executed automatically based on the default Shopify Connector cron job schedule.
    • Export all Price & Stock: every 15 minutes
    • Import and synchronize orders: every 15 minutes
  • Product exports will only be completed during onboarding and when you add new products to your ShopSimon assortment. Please follow steps 4 through 7.
  • The connector allows you to review and manage the orders you are receiving in Shopify.
  • All refunds must be manually processed in ShopSimon back office. Each refund made creates a credit memo in Shopify through the connector.
  • Promotions will be managed using the "Offer Price Rule" in the connector or through pricing in your Shopify catalog.
